Any track ordered over 2.5 metres (250cm) will come in 2 halves. These will be  connected using a heavy duty joining splice. You can see how simple it is to connect your tracks together by watching this short video.

See how easy it is to add extra curtain track gliders to this wall mounted curtain track. Or remove surplus gliders from the track. How many gliders your track needs is determined by the curtain heading style.

3 inch pencil pleat gathered curtains require the most gliders. You would usually have a curtain hook in Every 4th pocket on the curtain tape.

6 inch deep pencil pleat gathered curtains require a few less gliders. You will have a curtain hook in every 3rd pocket on the curtain tape.

Double and Triple pleat headed curtains need even fewer curtain hooks. You will have a pin hook for every pleat. Also, you may choose to add extra hooks on the curtain ouside edges.

How much weight will these silver wall mount curtain tracks hold?

This is a question I get asked a lot. So I thought I would address it here. You would need very large heavy curtains for this track to perform poorly. When I say heavy curtains I mean the kind that when you try to pick them up. You struggle to lift them off the floor. I have hung many pairs of curtains across wide bifold doors. They cope well and still glide smoothly. I have hung some very long curtains (floor to ceiling). This track again has performed well.

If you wanted to weigh your curtains. Then this track will hold up to 40kg of weight and still function properly.
That is way above most domestic curtains. Even floor length blackout lined curtains will glide with ease on these tracks.

Overlapping curtains option

You can order your silver curtain tracks below with the overlap arm option. This a great choice for perfect closing curtains. This is especially true if you ae hanging blackout curtains.

You can choose which way to have your overlap. Either "right over left" or "left over right".  In a bedroom you would have the overlap facing away from the head of the bed for the best effect.
